Halal and quality
All meat products offered by European Gulf Company are halal. We work with a clear principle: what we promise is written in the quotation and supported by the documents of each shipment.
Halal
Meat is sourced from slaughterhouses that carry out halal slaughter. The halal certificate for a shipment is issued for that shipment by the certifying body working with the producing plant. If your market requires a specific certifying body, state this in your request so we can confirm it before quoting.
Hygiene and traceability
Meat placed on the market must come from establishments approved under the applicable food hygiene rules and bear an identification mark. Plant approval numbers, production and expiry dates appear on the labels and documents for each shipment, so every carton or carcass can be traced.
Cold chain
Chilled and frozen products are transported in temperature-controlled equipment. Temperature requirements are part of the transport instructions for each shipment.
Documents per shipment
Depending on the destination, a shipment can include a commercial invoice, packing list, health or veterinary certificate, halal certificate, certificate of origin and transport documents. Which documents apply is confirmed in the quotation.
